About the Role

• As a part of our team, you oversee the technical development of Arango in the Python-based AI universe
• You own Python features that you develop for Arango’s AI Suite
• Your work on internal and customer projects involving agentic workflows
• You maintain several Python-based repositories
• You evaluate the latest developments and innovations in the fields of Python, Agentic AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation to further apply them in your work
• You hold talks and webinars about your projects at conferences and relevant user groups (optional)
• Other duties as assigned from time to time. 

Your Skills

• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong track record of creativity and problem-solving skills, as shown in public work
• You bring at least 2 years of Python experience to the table
• You are familiar with NoSQL/SQL, Linux, Docker and Kubernetes
• You are passionate about solving complex problems, using an analytical approach
• Bonus points for:
  • Experience with international customers
  • Experience with database systems and Data/ML/GenAI ecosystems 
  • Experience with Cloud-native development (AWS, Kubernetes,...)
  • Open Source experience
